Claire has a degree in Communications and a background in big corporates including Coca-Cola. She then spent six years in recruitment at Adecco, working through the digital transformation of the talent industry.
Claire works closely with both clients and our talent to make sure everyone has what they need to do good work. Her approach is rooted in servant leadership, which in practice means rolling up her sleeves, staying close to the problem and being there when things get difficult, not just when everything is going smoothly.
She's also annoyingly optimistic.Her basic philosophy is that hard doesn't have to mean miserable, and that there is usually a solution if you're prepared to dig deep enough to find it.
paula kockare, co-founder
Paula has a degree in Economics from St Gallen, an MBA from Oxford Brookes and a rather impressive corporate CV involving PwC and KPMG. Thankfully, she escaped.
At Houston & Ko, Paula makes sure the model behind the work actually works. That means finding the right talent, wherever in the world they happen to be, and making sure everything is set up properly from a Swiss legal and compliance perspective.
For our clients, that means access to specialist people without having to spend hours figuring out contracts, employment regulations, payments and all the other dry, but important administrative details that come with working with talent across borders.
Essentially, Paula makes the road smooth. You get the person you need, when you need them, without having to build the infrastructure inhouse.
lucila brubacher, head of design
Lucila is a qualified industrial designer who has spent her professional life in project management. Another way of saying she is exceptionally good at taking a lot of moving parts and driving them all in the same direction.
Lucila is the person making sure that your red thread runs through everything. Your website, social content, presentations, trade fair materials, campaigns... whatever is being produced, she keeps an eye on the bigger picture, manages revisions, coordinates the work and makes sure everything feels like it belongs to the same brand.
